GREEN RIBBON PANEL MEETING AUG. 25
Volusia County’s Environmental Management Division will host a Green
Ribbon Panel meeting from 6 - 7:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 25, in the training
rooms of the Thomas C. Kelly Administration Center, 123 W. Indiana Ave.,
DeLand.
The agenda for the meeting includes a presentation of the county’s
minimum standards for wetland protection and an overview of wetland
permitting issues. The panel will discuss potential changes to the
minimum standards.
The Green Ribbon Panel is a committee of 15 individuals with varied
backgrounds. The purpose of the panel is to examine the current
environmental minimum standards for Volusia County Government and make
recommendations regarding potential changes.
