East Volusia County

Open gym basketball pick up
Ages: 16 - up
Dates: Program runs during school year
Time: Games played Saturdays 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Location: Holly Hill Middle School gym
Fee: Free

Spring and Fall adult softball leagues
Materials needed: Each team must supply two balls per game
Ages: 18 - up
Location: Strickland Range Park, Holly Hill
Fee: $500 per team per season.

Youth track and field program
Materials needed: Track shoes, shorts, t-shirt and water bottle.
Ages: Co-ed 6-15
Location: Holly Hill Middle School
Fee: $40 registration fee plus $10 per meet.

Co-ed church softball league
Materials needed: Teams must supply softball equipment and uniforms
Ages: 18 - up
Location: Strickland Range Park, Holly Hill
Fee: $100 per team

Senior tennis
Instructional tennis and tournaments
Materials needed: Tennis racquet (tennis balls provided)
Ages: Adults
Location: Bicentennial Park, Ormond by the Sea
Fee: $1 per session

West Volusia County

Shooting Stars basketball clinic (February-March)
Pump up your basketball skills!
Each session will focus on developing the fundamental skills of dribbling, passing, shooting, offense & defense.
Materials needed: Youth size 110 basketball and a water bottle.
Ages: 6 & up (boys & girls)
Location: Southwestern Middle School gym
Fee: $50

Youth cheerleading clinic (November-December)
Come join in the spirit! This fun cheerleading clinic focuses on creating self-confidence.
Materials needed: White gym shoes and a water bottle.
Ages: Girls 5 - 16
Location: DeLand Middle School, DeLand
Fee: $50

Spring Soccer League
We offer instructional and recreational soccer leagues. Participants are placed on teams with coaches and games are played! Practice times are up to each coach.
Materials needed: Soccer shoes, shin guards, soccer ball and water bottle.
Ages: Co-ed 6-16
Location: Sperling Sports Complex and PFC Emory L. Bennett Veterans Memorial Park
Fee: $50

Tiny Tots soccer clinic - Spring
Children learn the basic skills and fundamentals of soccer without the pressure of games
Materials needed: Soccer shoes, shin guards, size 3 soccer ball and water bottle.
Ages: Co-ed 4 - 5
PFC Emory L. Bennett Veterans Memorial Park
Location: Registration available at McInnis Elementary, Volusia Pines Elementary, DeLand Middle and Orange City Elementary
Fee: $50

Fall Youth Soccer League
Instructional and recreational soccer leagues available. Participants are placed on teams with coaches and games are played! Practice times are set by each coach.
Materials needed: Soccer shoes, shin guards, soccer ball and water bottle.

Men's Adult Basketball League
Men’s competitive league playing in two divisions: Nine open division and over 30 division. Call as a team or individual to join.
Materials needed: Basketballs, tennis shoes
Ages: 18 - up
Location: DeLand Middle School
Fee: $400 per team

Adult slow pitch softball
Competitive slow pitch softball league.
Ages: 18 - up
Materials needed: Gloves, balls and bats
Location: PFC Emory L. Bennett Veteran’s Memorial Park
Fee: $400 per team

West Volusia Track Team
Children learn the track and field events and with coaching, improve their times and distances. Track meets available (free) to challenge all. Winners can advance to the Hershey National Track and Field Program championships, local and district Hershey meets here in West Volusia County. State meet in late June in Central Florida.
Materials needed: Tennis shoes
Ages: 6 - 14 years
Location: DeLand Middle School track

Local Hershey Track and Field Championship
Child selects three events in which to participate - running events, dashes, sprints, and distances (50, 100, 200, 400, 800, 1600 and 4x100 relay), and field events such as softball throw and standing long jump.
Materials needed: Tennis shoes
Ages: Youth 9 - 14
Location: DeLand Middle School track
Fee: Free, register the day of the event or in advance by calling Volusia County Leisure Services.

Volusia District Hershey Track and Field Youth Championships
District meet winners and second place go to the state championships. Win at state and you may win a free, all expenses paid trip to the national championship in Hershey, Pennsylvania, in August.
Materials needed: Tennis shoes
Ages: Youth 9 - 14
Location: DeLand High School track
Fee: Free. Must qualify in district meet.

Monday mixed doubles tennis
Play mixed doubles tennis at Valentine Park. Co-sponsored program with Orange City Leisure Services.
Materials needed: Tennis racquet, tennis shoes
Ages: Adults
Location: Valentine Park, Orange City
Fee: $2 per event. Registration required, limited to 24 participants.

Adult ISA Co-ed Softball League
Competitive softball where stealing bases is allowed. Five men and five women must be on the field at all times. Great exercise and fun!
Materials needed: Bats, balls and uniforms
Ages: Adults
Location: PFC Emory L. Bennett Veteran’s Memorial Park
Fee: $350 per team

Men's ISA Church Slo-pitch Softball League
Competitive league for teams. Bases are stolen here! Monday nights under the lights.
Materials needed: Balls, bats, team roster, uniforms.
Ages: 16 - up
Location: PFC Emory L. Bennett Veteran’s Memorial Park
Fee: $350 per team
