Parks and boat ramps


Hontoon Island State Park, 2309 River Ridge Road, DeLand, will be closed indefinitely due to flooding. For more information, please call (386) 736-5309.

The boat ramps at Ed Stone Park and Lake Monroe Park have reopened.

The following boat ramps remain closed:
Highbanks Boat Ramp, DeBary
Mariners Cove Boat Ramp, Enterprise
Lemon Bluff Boat Ramp, Osteen
Lake Ashby Boat Ramp, New Smyrna Beach

These ramps are closed because the water is too high and they are not safe. They will be evaluated regularly and opened when safe.
