The Volusia County Public Works Services Center welcomes you to its home page. From road repair to treating water to recycling, Volusia County's citizens benefit from the many services provided by our 430 dedicated employees who are committed to maintaining professional and high-quality standards.

Volusia County's unique combination of coastal areas, forested hammocks, lowland swamps and open grassland challenge our engineers and work crews to maintain a myriad of infrastructure throughout the County. We also manage our precious water supply and handle the enormous drainage demands made by semitropical rainstorms. It is our goal to answer any questions you may have concerning Volusia County Public Works. Please click onto our separate Service Groups pages or give us a call for any specific information.

Public Works Administration, consisting of the director and five staff members, directs and coordinates the activities of six Public Works divisions including Engineering and Construction, Traffic Engineering, Water Resources and Utilities, Road and Bridge, Solid Waste/Recycling, and Mosquito Control.
