When complete, the Spring-to-Spring Trail will stretch
26 miles from Gemini Springs Park to DeLeon Springs State Park.
It is being designed to accommodate walkers, joggers,
inline skaters, bicyclists and people with disabilities. To date,
Volusia County has completed several segments of the trail.
The Spring-to-Spring Trail has five trailheads for your convenience: DeBary Hall, Gemini Springs
Park, Lake Beresford Park, Blue Spring State Park and Lake Monroe Park.

Residents and visitors can journey along the
trail from Lake Monroe Park to
Gemini Springs Park and on to DeBary Hall Historic Site.
The newest trail segment, which stretches
3.3 miles from Lake Beresford Park to Blue Springs State Park,
opened in June 2008.
This segment is 12 feet wide and paved. It was made possible by ECHO
funds and a partnership with the Florida Park System, which donated the
land that runs through Blue Spring State Park.
A small portion of the trail (1.3 miles)
is in western DeBary Golf and Country Club. This portion is 10 feet
wide and will be part of the future connection northward to Blue Spring
State Park.

What’s next up for the Spring-to-Spring Trail?
Construction is about to begin on extending the trail four miles to the
north along Grand Avenue in Glenwood and surveying and design have already begun to extend the segment south into
DeBary.
A seven-mile
segment from Minnesota Avenue in DeLand to DeLeon Springs State Park is
being studied, as is a segment from Blue Springs State Park south to the
completed segment in DeBary Golf and Country Club.
